In 2008, my nearly two-year-old daughter and I were flying home to Portland from Mexico when I saw something outside the airplane window that transfixed me. My sleepy girl rested on my lap as I stared at something that defied every explanation or reality I had known.
I couldn’t look away. It was transparent, shimmering, alive. It was moving right alongside our plane as if tracking it. It hovered just at the edge of my perception, glimmering in that liminal space where the real and the impossible overlap.
I looked around, desperate to see if anyone else noticed what I was seeing, my heart pounding out of my chest. Not a single person was looking out their window. Everyone acted as if nothing unusual was happening, as if we weren’t hurtling through space and atmosphere in a metal tube. The sheer cognitive dissonance baffled me.
I glanced at the flight attendants. Were they aware? They moved about calmly, smiling, pouring drinks, keeping the illusion of normalcy intact. It felt like a performance, a fragile veneer holding the passengers together. Were the pilots aware of this thing, this living thing, flying alongside us?
What I saw was translucent, organic, almost scaled, iridescent, and huge. It shimmered like light caught in water, but it was not water. Through the tiny oval window I could only glimpse a portion of its form, as if some massive creature was sliding silently beside the plane just out of full view.
I was terrified to speak. If I said a word, I might sound insane. Some part of me even imagined men in black waiting at the gate to pull me aside and interrogate me. So I stayed silent, eyes locked on the shimmering presence outside, trying to sear the image into my memory.
It would be years later, sitting in a dark theater, when I saw the organic cloud-like UFO in the film Nope. My heart raced. That was the closest anything had ever come to capturing what I saw that day. About a year ago, during a remote viewing session, Birdie Jaworski described a ship with the exact same qualities I had witnessed, in minutes two through ten of this video. I nearly spit out my tea. After years of silence and doubt, it was the first time I had felt any real validation of what I had seen.
When I got off the plane, I called my brother immediately. If the men in black were going to find me, I needed someone to know where I was and what I had seen. “I saw a UFO,” I told him. “Or was it a dragon?” It was alive, I knew that much, and at the time I had never heard of any UFO being alive. Back then UFOs were either flying saucers or lights in the sky, not transparent, shimmering blobs.
But in the last year or two the idea of plasma ships has begun to gain traction. Plasma is now widely called the fourth state of matter, and some people are even exploring the possibility that consciousness and plasma are connected. Looking back, I began to catalog this memory in my mind as a dragon, because it was alive, shimmering, interdimensional.

Do you have any connections? I would love to hear them!
